Well, I’ve been a bit sick. In the *cough *cough* *hack* *die* sense of the word. I’ve also been sick in the “I’m kinda sick of WoW…Already” sense of the word.
Theres some things going on in WoW that make me just stare at the logon screen and then decide “Ehhhh its really not worth it.
See, there was this guild on my server and this guild split up. Half of this guild ended up in the guild of a friend of mine and the other half seems to have ended up in mine. I do not like these people. I’ve listened to my friends complain about them..A LOT, while thinking “Hah! Sucks to be you! I’ve got an awesome guild.” and then karma kicked me in the face when the remaining half of that guild joined the one I’m in. x.X Now I understand that all the complaining, bitching, frustrated ranting, etc. was perfectly valid and not at all exaggerated. Those people make me not want to play. I adore the guild that I’m in, I don’t think I’ve ever heard of a guild that fits quite so perfectly to me.
Though theres problems with that too. See there are two Kara/ZA groups. I’m in the second group. Well, I need Karazhan. I mean, there are some things that I don’t want to do that whole rogue thing without, and those things are primarily in Karazhan. Like…T4 Gloves/Helm for that incredible set bonus. Though I could get the shoulders from Maulgar. The raiding requirements actually seem lower for Gruul than for ZA. So I’m more likely to get into the gruul raid than the ZA raid. Thats fine with me. ZA doesn’t really do it for me. I mean, its a beautiful instance, the boss fights are interesting, and the loot is great…Its just that I’ve done it twice and its already gotten pretty old to me. It seems to be the opposite for my guild. They hate karazhan and find it boring, which I guess comes with having done it a billion times, and adore ZA. I adore Karazhan, I find it very interesting and it holds my attention. ZA, not so much.
Theres been a lot of arguing in my group recently about who the blame falls on for wipes and such. I don’t like that. Just pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and try again IMO. Don’t “OMG THE HEALS SUCK!” “The heals don’t suck, the tank BLOWS!” etc.
Last night ZA was scheduled. I logged on, got invited, got summoned out there. Had my flasks, poisons, potions, buff food, etc. ready. We only have 9 people. We couldn’t find a 10th. We needed a healer, we didn’t want to PUG one, so we switched over to Karazhan. GLEE! Karazhan! Land of …. Wait. Party Chat. “Boo hiss…Karazhan”, “Karazhan SUCKS!”, “I don’t want to do Kara, couldn’t we pug a healer instead?”, “Whiiiiiiiiiine”.
Sigh. Then I get a tell from a dear friend of mine “Blah. Kara again. Hate karazhan, hate people that don’t hate karazhan. blah.” /w back “I like Karazhan. I think its fun.” Friend whispers back “Eh. Kara blows. Hate it. You’ll see.”
Well, way to pee on my parade. I personally like it. I still find it interesting. I still find it useful. I really don’t know why they complain. They clear the place in 3 hours, get 20something badges of justice, chances at some loots, or failing the loots they get to restock the enchanting supplies in the guild bank.
So now I’m in a raid with 8 people who are crankypants as we crawl on over to Karazhan, dragging our heels the entire way. I land in darkshire, run to karazhan, (I still almost always start running towards ZG…Force of habit from my first rogue way back in the day I guess. O.o) zone in and AKHFODSIHF)SDAihf0saihfdsaf…Disconnected! Type in user info, hit enter, wait…wait…stuck on authenticating…say a few curse words. Wait some more. Try again. Success! “No instance server found” … o.O What?!
This goes on for about 30 minutes, second week in a row this has happened upon zoning into Karazhan. I imagine it looks suspicious to my guild, given that I haven’t been logging in much at all, but that takes a back seat to the fact that I’m pissed off that once again I’m unable to login. So I gave up and watched a DVD. Oh well.
So thats where I’ve been, and what I’ve been experiencing. Hows everyone out there in the blogging world doing? Better than me I hope.

Nightbane, Netherspite, Chess and Prince are tonight. 
Last night I also picked up [Drape of the Dark Reavers] and I purchased [Master Assassin Wristwraps]. My gear is coming along quite well if I do say so myself. My attack power is still on the low side, but I should be fixing that soon enough.
I really want 2.4 to hurry up and get here.

I’m doing karazhan at the moment. We just killed Romulo and Julianne (However you spell it!) and I got [Romulo's Poison Vial]. This makes me a very happy rogue!

Tonight my guild asked me to work on Zul’Jin with them. That fight is awesome! That is all.

Just before Karazhan tonight I got my +12 agi enchant done.
In Karazhan the Rogue/Shaman/Paladin token dropped from prince but I lost the roll. Then we headed to Nightbane where I got [Chestguard of the Conniver] which finally allowed me to replace my level 64 breastplate. This makes me happy. ^.^
I also got honored with The Violet Eye which allowed me to pick up my epic ring. So I’d say today was a good day for me. Now there are no more raids for me until next sunday. Time to work on getting a Seasonn 1 offhand + Mongoose.

Tonight we will be going back to Karazhan to do Chess (I look forward to this), Prince, Netherspite, Illhoof, and I think Nightbane. (Someone forgot the stuff to summon Nightbane yesterday. I don’t actually know what stuff is required for summoning a giant undead dragon.) Probably NOT in that order though.
Yesterday I got the [Edgewalker Longboots] from Moroes. I’m very excited about that. I figured I’d be wearing my Fel Leather Boots for like..forever. I traded a bit of hit and I THINK a tiny bit of crit for a ton of AP (Which is what I need the most at the moment) and a bit of stamina. I’m told that I can expect my stamina to go way up through Karazhan gear, which is nice because its pretty low at the moment.
I had gems put in my boots (+4agi/+4hit in Red, +8 Hit Rating in Yellow. So the same as Fel Leather) and I borrowed some enchanting materials for a +12 agi enchant. Though it seems that finding someone to do that enchant isn’t quite so easy. Oh well, I shall try to get it before the raid tonight so I can wear my awesome boots.
I was quite happy with how I did in Karazhan in terms of damage output.

7:55PM - Summoning Started.
8:25PM - Attumen Down. Caster Ring, Mail bracers. Second on damage.
8:45PM - Moroes down. [Edgewalker Longboots] - SCORE
9:15PM - Maiden down w/ 5 people dead. Notttt smooth. +healing mace, +healing plate bracers.
9:25PM - Heading to Opera. Slightly worried.
9:28PM - Wiped on Pre-Opera trash due to an add that killed healers. O.o
9:42PM - Oz - 1-shotted.
9:45PM - Someone aggroed an extra group. We died.
9:48PM - Headed to Curator.
9:54PM - Wiped because of pet aggro. x.X
10:00PM - Died to an Arcane Watchman’s Overload.
10:15PM - Curator down without incident
10:55PM - Shade of Aran down. I LOVE THIS FIGHT
11:10 - Raid called after illhoof wipe. Warlock kept getting sacrificed.

to post my UI on the UI & Macros forum. I’m terrified they’re going to be harsh on me but I AM interested to know if other people find it appealing.
I’m pretty sure most people won’t like my damage font but theres just something about it that I like.
Theres nothing really going on in WoW at the moment so I’m planning on watching some TV until more people are online to play with. Sorry for the boring update!
